Lifestyle Medicine

I have worked in the NHS for over 18 years. After discovering Lifestyle Medicine a few years ago, I studied for my diploma from the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and received my diploma in 2020.

A massive part of our ability to be happy is to look after our health. Health and Wellness look differently to different people, however I believe there is a close synergy between a healthy body and a healthy mind.



The British Society of Lifestyle Medicine draws on 6 pillars of health:

  • Exercise & Physical Activity

  • Sleep

  • Healthy Relationships

  • Nutrition

  • Stress Reduction & Mental Health

  • Reduction of harmful coping mechanisms*

    *such as cigarettes or alcohol

As a Lifestyle Medic, I ensure my clients have the personal tools and resources to manage their six pillars of health to support themselves to live an authentic life and achieve their goals.

 
 
 
 

Coaching

 

As humans, sometimes we all need a little bit of support to work towards our goals. Sometimes, we are so busy firefighting our everyday life, that we don’t even have a minute to stop and think about our longer-term health or happiness. 

I am just a normal human – but I care! I care deeply about helping people be content and well mentally and physically. This is why I set up AuthenticallYou®!

I am a single mum with two children. I work hard and play hard. I make mistakes and have a lot to work on, but I will always show compassion and kindness to myself, my family, friends and clients.
